Where you come in.

As a Freelance (PT) Assistant Designer you will be an integral part of the design team and have a huge impact on developing game-changing, fit-perfected products to a category of women that is underserved.

The role.

• Assist the design team in the creation of brand-right, commercial designs across categories that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy
• Assist the design team in developing presentation boards for meetings
• Collaborate with Designer to create initial flat sketches and CADs 
• Assist in crafting and updating seasonal & core linesheets
• Create detailed tech packs and BOMs for seasonal style development
• Help to maintain and update digital color & print library
• Prepare print artwork packages for factory development
• Create and comment on factory branding layouts 
• Assist design team with ad hoc office organization - sample library, color & trim archive 

Requirements

The ideal candidate.

The ideal candidate is passionate about Pepper’s mission to promote body confidence for our audience, have a keen eye for trends, and have a strong ability to multi-task. • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design with a concentration in lingerie design, with a focus on bras preferred
• 1-2 years experience designing intimate apparel required
• Excellent sketching, illustration, and technical drawing skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

The expected salary for this role is $40- $50/hour, though the final offer will reflect several factors such as your experience, skills, and the role’s location and may be outside of this number.
