Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, and adoption

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and marital settlement agreements

• Conduct legal research and stay up to date on family law statutes and procedures

• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and negotiations

• Maintain consistent communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

• Work closely with paralegals and staff to track deadlines and ensure timely filings

• Track billable hours and maintain accurate client records

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Active and in-good-standing admission to the state bar

• At least 1 year of experience in family law litigation

• Strong litigation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
