Supervise and administer internal and external communications strategy for the department. Develop, implement, and evaluate change management solutions to ensure success of department goals. Act as team lead for Communications Services' Core business workstream.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee communication strategies, requirements, and execution.
  • Apply expert knowledge of best practices, trends, standards, and technologies in content distribution.
  • Ensure communications comply with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Administer content, design, and layout; approve and oversee updates.
  • Identify, document, and implement business communication requirements.
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of communications activities.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and main point of contact for workstream communications.
  • Act as lead reviewer for all communications.
  • Provide consulting and support services to senior and executive management for communication solutions.
  • Collaborate with Employee Communications and other internal teams.
  • Partner with leadership on Public Relations and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Produce reports and presentations for senior management with strategy recommendations.
  • Develop and implement department change management solutions.
  • Serve as change management lead; conduct stakeholder analysis and create change roadmaps.
  • Measure the effectiveness of change activities and implement improvements.
  • Supervise team: set priorities, coach employees, support performance appraisals.
  • Direct work, monitor productivity, and resolve issues.
  • Manage budget, recommend staffing and equipment needs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and executing internal communication campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work across all levels of an organization with tact and professionalism.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Strong research, analysis, and conceptual organization skills.
  • Proficiency in graphics, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills for both print and online channels.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Desired: Knowledge of financial services and clients' operations, policies, and procedures.
