JOB DESCRIPTION
The Shuttle Driver at The Rose Hotel delivers a luxury guest transportation experience that reflects the personalized service standards of our boutique property. This position is responsible for safe, timely, and courteous transport of guests to and from the airport and local destinations such as restaurants, offices, and attractions. More than a driver, you are an ambassador of the hotel, delivering warm, professional service and engaging with guests to create seamless, memorable travel experiences. This role requires a polished, service-minded individual with a deep knowledge of the local area, exceptional guest service skills, and complete physical mobility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Guest Transport: Provide prompt and professional shuttle service to and from the airport and local businesses while ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
• Guest Engagement: Deliver a warm, personalized welcome to each guest, offering local insights, assistance with luggage, and concierge-level service.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure shuttle vehicle is clean, fueled, and presentable before every shift; conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Coordination: Communicate effectively with the front office and concierge teams to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and guest transportation needs in real-time.
• Safety & Compliance: Operate vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws, hotel policies, and safety procedures. Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all state and local regulations.
• Area Knowledge: Stay up to date with local traffic patterns, events, business hours, and points of interest to ensure efficient routing and informed guest recommendations.
• Physical Assistance: Assist guests with mobility needs, luggage handling, and boarding/disembarking as needed—no physical activity restrictions apply.
• Documentation: Log transportation activities, fuel usage, and vehicle inspections accurately as required by hotel procedures.
• Representation: Act as a brand ambassador both on and off property; maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor at all times.
• Team Support: Assist guest services team with bell, valet, or lobby operations when shuttle service is not active.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, bend, twist, and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift without limitation.
• Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the operational and guest service goals of the hotel.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of guest-facing driving or hospitality experience preferred; luxury or boutique hotel background is a plus.
• Licensure: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must meet all state and local requirements for commercial or passenger vehicle operation.
• Area Knowledge: Familiarity with local roads, airport terminals, and popular business and leisure destinations is highly valued.
• Guest Service: Warm, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Reliability: Strong sense of time management and personal responsibility; punctuality and attention to safety are essential.
• Physical Abilities: Able to perform all required physical functions including lifting, loading luggage, and assisting guests with no physical limitations.
