Description:

To develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, medical practices, and other potential referral sources to increase patient referrals to our physical therapy clinic.

Compensation: $45-50k/yr base; $6-12k/yr add'l bonus structure. Health/Dental/Vision, PTO, and CEU incentives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Identify and target potential referring sources (physicians, employers, gyms, etc.) in the local area
2. Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with identified targets from #1
3. Educate referral sources about Atlas’ services and treatment approaches
4. Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to increase referrals
5. Maintain a database of contacts and track referral patterns
6. Distribute marketing materials
7. Organize and host events for referral sources, Atlas staff, and the community
8. Attend networking events to build relationships
9. Communicate with and integrate Atlas clinicians into referral-generating strategies

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of medical terminology and the healthcare industry
2. Experience in healthcare marketing or sales
3. Experience in marketing
4. Proficiency in electronic/cloud-based data entry and medical records systems

Working Conditions:

1. Field Work
   1. Spending the majority of time (up to 85%) traveling and working in the field
   2. Visiting local physicians' offices, healthcare facilities, employers, gyms, etc to promote our services
2. Relationship Building
   1. Meeting with referring doctors to discuss patient care, referrals, and treatments
   2. Building and maintaining relationships with local healthcare providers, business owners, and the public
   3. Arranging meetings between referring physicians and specialty providers, employers, and other referral-generating sources
3. Sales
   1. Implementing outreach plans to market clinical services within a designated territory
   2. Conducting presentations and public relations campaigns
   3. Educating regional providers on targeted areas to increase referral volumes
4. Schedule Management
   1. Developing a structured schedule to balance fieldwork and office tasks
   2. Coordinating schedules between referring doctors and specialty physicians
   3. Attending internal meetings to learn about new providers and strategic initiatives
5. Professional Development
   1. Continually developing medical knowledge to effectively engage with healthcare professionals, business owners, and the general public
   2. Participating in ongoing training and education in physician liaison strategies
6. Reporting
   1. Daily completion of visit notes
   2. Weekly completion of spreadsheet data
   3. Monthly completion of spreadsheet data, analytical breakdown, and planning meetings
