Job Description

• Support the preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations in collaboration with senior staff.
• Manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects, review daily reports, assist with issue resolution, and train field staff.
• Manage project budgets for geotechnical and CMT projects and prepare invoices.
• Assist with or perform tasks under supervision, such as:
• Perform boring and test pit layouts and evaluate site access.
• Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances.
• Research local geologic history.
• Supervise field work performed by drilling/test pit crews and assist with rig access issues.
• Perform in-situ testing and specialized geotechnical field testing.
• Classify soil and coordinate laboratory testing.
• Assist in preparing proposals for geotechnical and CMT projects for training and development.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• No prior experience required.
• A professional license is not required for this role but is necessary for career progression.
• A valid driver's license is required if driving for ECS or on its behalf.
