As the implementation lab working directly with the DAWN Foundation, DAWN Internet is responsible for deploying and operationalizing Web3 infrastructure at scale. This is a unique opportunity to help build the systems behind a next-generation internet company—one that is grounded in execution and built for scale. The Role We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Special Projects Manager to own and evolve the systems that power our operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role reporting directly to the CFO. You’ll lead the charge in automating workflows, streamlining operations, and aligning financial processes with the pace and ambition of the business. We believe every recurring task is an opportunity for automation. From payables to payroll, dashboards to document management—you’ll identify bottlenecks and turn friction into flow using smart workflows, integrations, and AI tools. Your work will be essential to helping Andrena scale operationally without bloating headcount or creating complexity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership across work streams, and loves turning undefined challenges into clean, scalable systems. What You’ll Do Workflow Automation: Identify repetitive manual processes and redesign them using tools like N8N, Neo4j, scripting, AI-enabled platforms, or custom integrations. Data Integration & Visualization: Build dashboards and reporting tools using BigQuery, Apache Superset, Grafana, Google Sheets, and Excel to inform real-time decisions. System & API Integration: Understand data structures and build or manage API-based integrations across core functions (e.g., accounting, payroll, procurement, HR ops). Cross-Functional Ops: Take ownership of back-office operations including vendor onboarding, contract workflows, payroll setup, compliance tracking, and other administrative systems. Scalable Infrastructure: Develop workflows and reporting systems that allow Andrena to grow efficiently—minimizing manual work and enabling cross-team alignment. What We’re Looking For Experience: 3–7 years in finance, accounting, operations, or business systems roles—ideally in high-growth or startup environments. Systems-Oriented: You understand how tools connect. You’re comfortable with APIs, connectors, data structures, and thinking end-to-end about workflows. Automation-Driven: You’re excited to eliminate manual work and use software and AI to create leverage across teams. Strong Judgment: You know when to dive into details vs. step back to prioritize. You can balance tactical execution with strategic impact. Ownership Mentality: You’re proactive, self-directed, and eager to own projects—even when they start out undefined. You figure out how to move things forward across teams.
