Direct message the job poster from Infosys Infosys is seeking a Databricks & PySpark Lead Developer In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts. Additionally, you will deliver high-quality code for modules, lead validation for all testing types, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education. Candidates must be within commuting distance of Houston, TX, or willing to relocate. Travel within the US may be required. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Databricks. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with PySpark. Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in technology development, solution building, and leading independent projects. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and drive their implementation. Experience with Snowflake and ETL tools. Strong skills in planning and leading Joint Application Design sessions, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders. Experience with test-driven development and DevOps/CICD practices. Experience working within Agile SDLC frameworks like Scrum or SAFE. Desire and experience working in a global delivery environment. Experience providing advanced technology advisory services. Understanding of estimation methodologies and quality processes.
