The Corporate Business Leader is responsible for driving Marco’s Key Results and initiatives while maintaining high operational standards of product, service, and image. Provide support, consultation, and assessment to assigned corporate organization(s) and locations to build profitable sales, consistently meet brand standards, and promote a strong and healthy business. Additionally, provides operational assessment to validate that brand standards are consistently being met to protect brand reputation. Check out the responsibilities and requirements below and then fill out an application! Responsibilities Include: Identify gaps in a store or market and create action plans to resolve. Communicate with assigned markets. Follow up on any outstanding noncompliant issues. Enlists supporting departments and personnel when needed. Read and interpret a P&L statement to develop action plans on specific objectives, goals, and strategies. Provide consultation to continuously improve operational effectiveness, guest satisfaction, sales, and profitability. Conduct operational assessments. Utilize reporting and tracking tools to analyze results, identify trends, and provide analysis and recommendations to franchise. Achieve targeted sales growth for assigned corporate restaurants. Assist and validate successful rollout and integration of system-wide programs and initiatives. Provide timely, constructive feedback for performance improvement. Recognize and celebrate stores’ accomplishments and contributions. Provide regular leadership on cross-functional projects with system impact. Provide leadership and business solutions at a strategic level for assigned corporate store(s). Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant Management, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Store manager operations certification. Valid driver’s license. Servsafe certified. 5 years of successful multi-unit/regional level restaurant management or multi-unit franchisee experience. Proven track record of high achievement and success in a highly competitive business segment. Travel is required, usually over 50%. At times it could be extensive (10 days or longer). Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to fly on commercial airlines. Preferred: 5+ years’ experience in Franchise Operations. Physical Requirement(s): Must be able to stand for longer periods at a time (10 hours) on any given day, though not necessarily daily. Need to be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs on any given day. Solid decision-making and strategic thinking skills. Strong business acumen with advanced financial management skills and understanding of departmental budgets and fiscal responsibilities. Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations, company policies, and procedures. Knowledge in franchise relations with strong listening, negotiating, and influencing skills. Possess a keen knowledge and function of support departments including Training, Marketing, Finance, and Development. Follows company policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others. Superior people skills and ability to navigate relationships. Well-developed oral and written communication skills and confident presentation skills with the ability to train.
