Engineer/Project Manager

Seeking a qualified, licensed Civil/Land Development/Roadway/Utilities Engineer to assist with studies, reports, designs, and plans. This role is suited for a Professional Consultant, Level 3 or 4, requiring a degree from an ABET-accredited university and a minimum of 5 years of licensure as a professional engineer in a state with Florida reciprocity. Candidates must be able to attain Florida licensure within 4 months of hire. This position operates as a Project Engineer, focused on both private and public-sector projects, and requires strong work and professional ethics.

The role is based in Venice, FL, working under the direction of a supervisor assigned by the VP of Engineering.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience (required) and 3 years of project management experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in civil and/or structural engineering analysis, design, and permitting
  • Skilled in computer modeling using software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR, ARC Map (GIS), and MODRET
  • Experience preparing plans and specifications to meet current municipal and state codes
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with strong technical skills, open-mindedness, and a collaborative work ethic

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Engineer Intern (E.I.) in Florida or a reciprocal state

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range: $85,000 to $150,000, commensurate with education, background, and experience
